Not being able to edit the text field? The text field is linked to the Layer Name with an expression. In other words, the text field mirrors the Layer Name. To rename the text field, all you have to do is rename the Layer Name. However, if you want to make the text field editable, you will need to disable the expression as shown in the image below.
